The Sound Post Station is a device designed to simplify the carving of the violin's soundpost. Thanks to its precise calibration, it is possible to quickly identify the angles of the soundpost faces and cut them using a simple chisel. Furthermore, these angles can be saved for future constructions. The Sound Post Station also allows you to replicate the angles of old soundposts simply by placing the soundpost inside the Sound Post Station and calibrating the plates according to the existing soundpost. Soundposts that have become too short can be quickly and easily created with a new height and replaced. Thanks to the adjustable hole size, sound posts for violin, viola and cello can be handled.
Inside the package, you will find 14 plates and 7 inserts with the following diameters: 5.90 – 6.10 – 6.30 – 6.60 – 7.10 – 10.60 – 11.10 mm.
