We are pleased to be the retailer of Simeon Chambers Tonewood. The wood is old-growth Engelmann Spruce from Colorado. If you have not tried this execptional wood, you are missing out! Many of the best violin makers around the world are now using this spruce. The tops are superb and the bass bars are incredible as well.
Some key points about Chambers Tonewood:
- Log quality control. Only straight splitting logs are selected.
- Each piece is cut according to the split lines.
- Air drying only
