Wilfer Basses

 

The Wilfer master workshop was founded in 1905 by master luthier Emanuel Wilfer Sr. Within the last 100 years, his master instruments have got more and more sought-after by musicians and collectors. Today, the workshop is successfully run in the fourth generation by Roland and Rudolf Wilfer.

 

Wilfer #10 Bass - 402

Fully carved double bass, ribs, neck and back made of good maple and good spruce top; back and top arched. Tyrolean tuning machines (brass).

 

Wilfer #11 Bass - 403

This instrument is very similar to No. 10, but the back and ribs are lightly flamed.

 

Wilfer #12 Bass - 404

This double bass consists of flamed maple and selected spruce top that definitely meets high requirements.
